Position Summary
The Sales Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives and driving sales growth for the organization. This individual will be responsible for setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and providing training and support to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of sales representatives
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the team
- Provide training and support to sales team members to improve their performance
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to drive sales growth
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the organization and its products/services
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sales team leader or similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
- Experience with the industry and market trends
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a relevant field is preferred
